The district is covered out of two fire stations strategically located on the east and west side of I-35 @ 212 N. 5th St and 155 CR 313. The district staffs 7 full time paid firefighters per shift 24 hours a day, 365 days a year on a rotational 48/96 basis and is comprised of 21 operational firefighters, 2 Captains of Operations, an Assistant Fire Chief/Fire Marshal, 1 Office Manager, 1 Human Resource Specialist and the Fire Chief. • Public Service Calls: These may include lift assist of residents who have fallen and cannot get up to investigation of a smoke alarm problem.
  • Motor Vehicle Accidents: WCESD 5 responds to all MVA’s in our district for medical assist, extrication of entrapped accident victims, cleanup of fluids and debris and traffic control.
